Industries launch action of fidelity to retailers

The giant Gerdau, Votorantim Cimentos and Tigre Group announce a loyalty program for retailers of building materials.
The new company that will manage and promote the program called "together we're +" is composed 45% by Votorantim Cimentos, founder of the program in 2015, and 27.5% each other by Gerdau and Tiger. According to statement, the operation of the new company is subject to the approval of the Administrative Council for economic Defense (Cade).
The program is aimed at shops and their sellers, "with the goal of improving service to end-customers and professionals of the work," says the note sent to the market.
Thus, the sale of products from participating companies-such as steel, cement, mortar and grouts, pipes and fittings-generates points that can be exchanged for goods or services by the owners, vendors and store clerks.
Opportune time
The new venture takes place at a time when the retail building material starts to react. According to the Association that represents retailers, Anamaco, in March sales rose 10% in comparison with February and 2% on a year earlier. With the result 12% of retailers surveyed intend to make investments in stores in the coming months in anticipation of high demand in the units.
